This project is wonderful and the web site is such a great medium to present and collect information about the veterans. It is so very important that we do not forget their sacrifice and bravery - we have to let them know how truly grateful we are and that we will remember. God bless them all.

I would also like to identify my father in your photos. PB103645 and
PB103650. His name is Charles M. Rees. He was born July 14, 1930 and is currently living with his wife Gloria in Bay Roberts, NL. My dad served as a private in the Korean War from March 1952 to March 1953 in the 1st Battalion of the Royal Canadian Regiment, D Company, 11 Platoon. Upon return to Canada, he entered the Reserves where he obtained the rank of Sergeant. He is an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion and the Korea War Veteran's Association (where he has served as President). He has 5 children (Todd, Tracey, Tim, Lori & Jason) and 2 grandchildren (Jared & Mackenzie).
