The following is a list of pictures of my dad,
Patrick Mahon. Dad served with the 59th Field Artillery until the end of the war. He was
also a Fire Fighter with the St. John's
Regional Fire Department for 30 years and a Commissioner with the R.C.M.P. for ten years. He was born December 30, 1921 and passed away April 28, 2000 at the age of 78.
He was married to Helen Mahon (who is still living) for 53 years.
Four of my brothers and my son have followed Dad in serving their Country with the
Canadian Armed Forces. My daughter was also in the C.F. but is now out on a disability.
